Coffee from Honduras

Coffee from Honduras

In Honduras coffee was grown even before the country became independent from Spain in 1821. The governor of Honduras, don Ramon de Anguiano, already wrote in 1804, that coffee from Honduras was comparable to the then best known coffee Moka (Mauritius) and Java (Indonesia). Nowadays there are more than 100,000 families involved in the production of coffee, and especially notable is that the average age of the producers is becoming younger!
