Robusta coffee has its origin in Uganda and is the second largest robusta coffee producing country in the world. Robusta coffee grows well here due to the deltas and different heights in Uganda. Besides Robusta, Arabica coffee is also produced in Uganda. Think of Uganda Bugisu AA, Uganda Drugar or Uganda Wugar. Each area is characterized by its own taste. In Uganda, Bijdendijk also works with various cooperatives, including the Kibinge Farmers Co-operative Society.

Bijdendijk can recommend the following coffees:
• Uganda Bugisu AA
• Uganda Drugar
• Uganda Robusta Screen 18

This Drugar coffee is characterized by a full body with low sweetness and a winey taste with a mild acidity.
